Mashad Rugs

Mashad rugs come from the city of Mashad, one of the most famous carpet producing cities in Persia. The wool pile of Mashad rugs is made from some of Iran’s finest wool. These typically large rugs are spectacularly floral in design; from the center medallion to the intricate corner details, botanical motifs dominate Mashad rugs. Ivory, blues, and reds are also common. Mashad rugs are beautifully ornate, room-filling rugs that will no doubt be conversation starters.
