Kerman Rugs

Kerman Rugs come from the city of Kerman in the province of same name in southeastern Iran. Kerman has a long and flourishing tradition of the arts, including exceptional dyes and some of the finest hand woven, hand knotted Persian rugs. Antique Lavar Kerman rugs are generally considered the finest of this style. Kerman’s are almost exclusively floral in design, either with a central floral medallion or an allover floral pattern. These rugs are distinctly graceful, and are an excellent choice for elegant décor.
